Long term follow up improves clinical care and respiratory outcomes for Indigenous children (LOTUS) study (year 3)

The funds provided through the CRE will allow the LOTUS-Long term follow up improves clinical care and respiratory outcomes for Indigenous children study to complete the third and final year, commencing in 2017. In this final year, a new cohort of children (e.g. control group) will be included for Study-1 (long term consequences of children hospitalised with bronchiolitis).

The LOTUS study will provide new data and broaden our understanding on clinical predictors that significantly impact on lung health in Indigenous children. The studies will also direct future interventions and management pathways.
