Dr Pamela Laird
Dr Pamela Laird is a paediatric respiratory physiotherapist at Perth Children’s Hospital with expertise and special interest in non-CF bronchiectasis in First Nations children. Pam completed her current doctoral studies on improving recognition and management of chronic wet cough in First Nations children by families and clinicians and determining prevalence of protracted bacterial bronchitis in young children. Pam’s current research projects are focussed on knowledge translation to improve medical follow-up for First Nations children hospitalised with chest infections and preventing lung damage in First Nations children with chronic wet cough.
