Professor Anne Chang

Professor Anne Chang is the principal leader of these CREs. She is a NHMRC Practitioner Fellow and paediatric respiratory physician, recognised as a global leader in chronic cough and evidence based medicine in respiratory issues of children.

She led the world’s first chronic cough specific guideline for children and the first chronic suppurative lung disease guideline along with fellow CRE team members Profs Grimwood and Torzillo. She leads the paediatric component of the American College of Chest Physician’s Cough Guidelines, currently co-leading the European Respiratory Society bronchiectasis guideline for children, and established the first international collaborative team investigating respiratory illness in First Nations children. She has published over 500 papers and book chapters.
