Professor Ngiare Brown

Professor Ngiare Brown is one of Australia’s first Indigenous doctors, whose vision established the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association (AIDA). She also led the committee that determined key indicators in the ‘Closing the Gap’ strategy.

She was previously based at Menzies and has links to national Indigenous policy and plays a key role in Indigenous knowledge transfer.
